About Me

I am a Chinese international student from Taiwan and is currently studying abroad in the US. I am studying public relations and sociology, in the hopes of working for a PR agency. As an international student I enjoy cross-cultural engagements, learning new languages, and networking with students from diverse countries. Last year, I incorporated my communication skills into a program department internship for the International Student Association (UOiSA). During this time, I developed my event planning skills, by holding several on campus activities and cultural night.

After being promoted to the position of president, I oversee Circle K International (CKI) to build community relations. This is where I began to practice my leadership skills and team cooperation. I communicate with schools for club funds, requests sponsorship from vendors, and assigns tasks to officers after holding thorough discussions. Moreover, I flexibly applies administrative strategies from UOiSA to my responsibilities as Circle K’s president. This year, I created a social media account for the club to practiced my digital media communication skill and helped to advertised the club.

I am also interested in fashion PR other than non-profit and international relations. Observe how public relations functioned in fashion industry; how PR professions used specific techniques to communicate with publishers and celebrities. I am keen to learn more about the skills promoting fashion and the strategic communication in PR filed.
